Prashant Mandal was caught red handed by the Lokayukta officials while accepting bribe from his office on receiving a complaint of receiving bribe.
Prashant Madal, son of Karnataka BJP MLA Madal Veerupakshappa, was arrested by the anti-corruption wing of the Lokayukta for accepting a bribe of Rs 40 lakh. In this case, the High Court granted interim bail to BJP MLA Madal Virupakshappa on a bond and surety of Rs five lakh. Along with this, he has also been ordered to appear before the Lokayukta within 48 hours. Now this Delhi CM Kejriwal has taunted PM Modi.

Arvind Kejriwal tweeted that nothing was found in the raid from Prime Minister Manish Sisodia’s house. They were arrested by imposing all the sections of CBI, ED on them. The corruption wing has recovered Rs 1.7 crore from the BJP MLA’s office and Rs 6 crore from his house. Assembly elections are going to be held in Karnataka this year, due to which this issue seems to be gaining momentum.
