Excise Policy Case: Due to Delhi Budget 2023-24, Manish Sisodia sought extension from CBI, has received summons several times

Manish Sisodia said that on February 18, he was sent a notice by the CBI to join the liquor policy investigation. Sisodia has requested the CBI that being the Finance Minister of Delhi, he is currently engaged in finalizing Delhi’s budget.

The CBI had called him for questioning in the case related to ‘Delhi Liquor Policy’. After which Sisodia sought time from the agency and said that he needed time for the budget.

According to sources, Sisodia sought time from the agency saying that he is preparing for the Delhi Budget 2023-24. For this reason they should be given a week’s time.

Earlier, Sisodia had tweeted on Saturday saying, “CBI and ED have put full force against me, raids at home, bank locker searches, nothing has been found against me so far. My fault is that I have only made arrangements for good education for the children of Delhi. BJP people want to stop the education of children. I have always cooperated with the investigation and will continue to do so.”
