In April, the Haryana police had uncovered a cyber fraud of around 100 billion rupees in the largest raid of its kind to date. As part of this action, 320 cybercriminals’ hideouts spread across 14 villages in Nuh were raided and 65 cybercriminals were arrested. In addition, 66 cell phones and numerous false documents were seized.
Home Minister Anil Vij said on Thursday that the Haryana government had taken the attack on the cybercrime police station very seriously. He also said that Nuh is becoming the new Jamtara district in Jharkhand, infamous for being India’s cybercrime hub, when a massive crackdown was launched against cybercriminals.


8 accused arrested in Rajasthan

The Nuh police arrested 8 defendants from Rajasthan. The accused are residents of Rajasthan districts adjacent to Mewat.
