China-Pakistan campaign together for the first time

China’s Ministry of National Defense spokesperson Colonel Wu Qian informed that China and Pakistan are doing maritime patrolling together for the first time. This is the largest ever joint exercise between the Chinese and Pakistani navies as both the countries are enhancing their capabilities in joint security of strategic sea lanes as well as regional peace and stability, experts said on Sunday.

A matter of concern for India?

Now we come to the question whether the ongoing naval exercises between China and Pakistan in the Indian Ocean are a matter of concern for India or not? Several Chinese surveillance and oceanographic survey vessels have also been detected in the Indian Ocean last year.

It is believed that China has been conducting such exercises to increase its military strength.
