Meanwhile, BJP has decided to give free tickets to 40,000 women for the first contest to be held in Ahmedabad. Not only this but these women will also be given free tea and lunch. However, when asked where the money for this came from, the BJP spokesperson refused to tell.

40 thousand tickets will be given

BJP Vice President of Bodakdev region said that this decision is inspired by the Women’s Reservation Bill passed in Parliament last month. He said, ’30-40 thousand women of Ahmedabad will watch the match in the stadium on Thursday. Our volunteers had asked for names and tickets will be given to them today. They will also be given coupons for food and tea there.

BJP has hope

Gujarat BJP spokesperson Yamal Vyas said, ‘We have not made any special arrangements to bring him to the stadium. It would be good if they come in large numbers. A few days ago, BJP ward members had asked their workers for the names of those women who want to watch the World Cup match. These names and their numbers were then given to the household leader.

There will also be arrangements for tea and food.

It was clearly written in the message that these tickets would be given only to women. Tokens will also be given in which two tokens will be for tea and one for food packet. Gujarat Cricket official said, ‘School children have also been called.’ However, no one told who paid for the ticket.

After receiving threats from Khalistani separatists, heavy security arrangements have been made at the Narendra Modi Stadium for the first match of the World Cup and about 3500 policemen will be deployed there. Sector One Joint Commissioner of Police Chirag Koradia said on Wednesday that security arrangements have been made at multiple levels to deal with any kind of attack.
