Varun changed the seat again in 2019 and came to Pilibhit. Menaka had to go to Sultanpur for the son. The BJP high command is quietly watching their antics. The search for his alternative has also started in Pilibhit. Sanjay Gangwar, a two-time MLA from Pilibhit, is keen to contest the Lok Sabha elections from this seat. But the other option is with the party to cut his ticket and give ticket only to his mother Maneka.
Pilibhit seat can be offered for this. If Maneka agrees, then there will be no need for an alternate candidate. During Rahul Gandhi’s Ekta Yatra, there was speculation that Varun would join the Congress. His relations with Priyanka are normal. But, Rahul Gandhi vetoed it by saying that Varun should be a supporter of the RSS ideology. That’s why pulses will not be accepted in his Congress. In such a situation, it is possible that Varun will find some other place for himself.

Political pundits believe that instead of increasing in ten years, BJP must have lost some of its mass base in Haryana. Therefore it is difficult to win over him.
